A 3rd Season announcement was extremely unlikely, and aside of a leaker saying it was coming, nothing was indicating that it'll ever happen. The main one is (almost) always the publisher of the work getting adapted, and there is no reasons for them to invest in an Anime adaptation when the Manga is already finished (or was about to, had good sales and already had an Anime). Many people don't get it, but the Anime industry is mostly merely giant ads for Mangas/Light Novel, and nothing more. Making a public announcement will attrack back the people who do not track every movement done to the franchise, on top of potentially bringing new fans. Japan doesn't see Animes the same way as we do; they are merely adaptations; rewards for them, but people treat them as replacement for the source material here. Overall, the announcement is great for fans of the series as a whole, it's a disappointment only if you want the 3rd Season (which is understandable, as if you are not living in Japan, you do not benifit very much of the rest). If what you want is hope tho, follow leakers. There is strong rumors about the 3rd Season, even if i personally do not believe it at all, but whatever. |

Don't really think it will get a new season cause the manga has already been ended and it means it will do not much on the manga sales.
