Visually this was a delight to the eyes fr
It is always nice to see an anime that aims high rather than safe generic stuff. This isn't listed as comedy so I guess it will explore the significant problems vampire aristocrats face raising their children.
At this point it could be great or a train wreck...

I really dislike how CGI the art style looks (although I do quite like the interior design of the background), and the opening really wasn't anything special in my opinion.

However, I am intrigued to see how it will progress from here on!

Anyone else here because of the stage play with Morning Musume and S/mileage?

I'm not sure how I feel about the art and animation yet, but I do like the idea of nobel vampire dads raising their children.

@Plushyman not really, but the whole series is pretty much homoerotic either the characters are males or females, it's pretty gay imo (probably cuz vampires are just already gay enough)
but also these are Gerhard and Dali on the Grand Guignol stage play (prequel to Delico's Nursery)

It’s a promising start. The parenting part really is cute (i want to watch everyone suffering under their adorable kids for saying childcare is beneath me..I think Dali would agree too) and the mystery looks to be interesting. What really makes it stand out is how utterly gorgeous this whole anime is. It revels in it‘s vampiric character, it fucks severely. I‘m definitely gonna be watching it week to week (if life allows)

@xLoesje Okay, so I was a huuuge Momusu/S/mileage fan (before the latter changed their name, primarily when the original members were Shugo Chara Eggs) circa 2009. I had no idea they had connections to this anime. I was aware they did stage plays but wow. I'm dying to see this.

It's called "LILIUM -Lilium Shoujo Junketsu Kageki-"! The musical is set in the same universe/story but I think it's all different characters. The whole TRUMP story is huge with many different musicals, plays etc. I personally only watched Lilium, but it feels like the tip of the iceberg haha

I want to see where this goes, but the constant crying from the babies and the kids was already driving me crazy. On top of that, Gerhard's constant complaining made things even worse.

The visuals, the character design and the set-up all seem... fine, I'm a little confused about the generally-negative reaction to those aspects.

I’m not even 7 minutes in and haven’t stopped laughing because they keep talking about “Trump”. I’m sorry but them saying things like “are you suggesting that the perpetrators actually believe that Trump exists?” is so distracting and hilarious.
