I just finished the first season and now I'm gonna watch the sequel (third movie). Regarding the first two, they are catalogued as summaries, but if i don't watch them am i gonna miss something? Like one more scene at the end of the movie or something?

Because the first 2 movies are just recaps of season 1 for the most part.
No real reason to watch them except for a couple extra additions. (Unless you don't watch S1)

If you have just watched the first season, don't bother with the first two movies lol, 99% of it is recap. Go straight to the 3rd movie. These people are insane, telling you to watch the same shit again, right after you finished S1.

I watched the first 2 after I finished the latest season because i needed more abyss in my life and God knows how many years we will be waiting. and knowing we're getting a season 4 I don't want to spoil myself with the manga. I'm weird and only read Manga if the anime has no sight of future seasons I'm lookin at you chihayafuru

The problem with Made in Abyss is that the manga is a monthly release and that season 2 had reached the latest chapters when it aired.

This means only one thing : a paaaiinful wait no matter if you read the manga or not
