What do you think how many episodes there will be and how much they will adapt? As a manga reader I can't really see a point where they could make a cut, so I just wanted to know what you think or if there was already something announced.

Ao no Hako screams like it needs at least 24 episodes or to the point where that significant moment happens around chapter 100. It would be a satisfying end to the anime. Ending halfway just wouldn't cut it

There's enough source material to make it 24 episodes season, but as now 12 episodes season is on trend. so, it’s not convenient but might be 12 episodes season...

Dobyou even know what pacing is? No good series adapts 100 chapters in 24 eps, especially not a romcom. More realistic would be like 30 chapters.

@Rammelbips rag adapted 167 chapters in 36 episodes and nobody batted an eye. Depend the pacing of the chapter if they can fit 3 in one episode it's not rule set in stone.

don't know what rag is but it pretty much depends on the pacing of the manga itself.

Ao No Hako does not have a fixed pacing, it is varying. It also has a lot of dialogue. Given that they animate the badminton and basketball bits with more pizzazz, we'll get a pace of around 2-4 chapters per episode

Realistically 11-13 episodes, if we’re lucky 24. But no way it’s anything more than that

I think if it will be 12 episodes chapter 36 is a good point to stop, and if it will be 24 then chapter 67.

probably 24 eps adapting the manga 48-60 chapters won't make it to 100 that would make it bad

@SATAN19 so you don't know rag but you rated 8/10 the season 1.

Still don't know what rag is. Unless the anime specifically mentions the short name, why would I know it?

@SATAN19 rent a girlfriend Kanojo, Okarishimasu. I was sure everyone would know that by how hard it's in the meme.

Ah okay. Hmm, I don't remember giving Kanojo, Okarishimasu an 8 😭

Season 1 was decent and I was a little too generous with the ratings back then maybe that's why an 8.

I would say 12 episodes since it's the most common amount every romance anime gets, but according to you guys saying that it could be 24 episodes, maybe it's possible

@ReOkagen sure. But you should not like garbage. The industry is failing enough. Don't encourage them
