I know this is a joke post, but let me answer it honestly anyways:
I think my favourite meeting was the first meeting with Mjöllmile where Rimuru offers him a position at tempest if the festival is a success. I just loved their chemistry and also it's the beginning of one of my favourite arcs.

Same ppl who is complaining now, later will complain again after “not understanding the story” because either they skipped the meetings or just didn’t payed attention enough. Nowadays they can’t even read a single small book/manga lol

@JustAStick season 1 managed to pull off the world building really well without endless meetings or 24/7 action.

I would normally agree, but slime does the bare minimum when it comes to keeping someone engaged visually. So many other shows are able to at least have a bunch of pretty looking filler scenes or interesting points of interest for the meeting itself. Slime isn't incapable of this either (example being Walpurgis) so it's really frustrating when a season has had this many meetings in the same location with very little animation.

Okay so to be fair, I will give you this one. I love world building aspects and such but it does look like they reuse animation at certain times lol. Unfortunately for many watching currently that don’t like the meetings, this arc is entirely just meetings and politics so this is just a par for the course. The main action will come when they finally show off the colosseum battles (which being that they gave us a bs “luminas memory” episode hopefully it’ll look even better in animation
