It's just as I thought, there's an original ending because the original author passed away and the manga was left unfinished. I'm surprised to see many anime original elements outside of the ending because season 1 was pretty faithful, and kind dissapointed that some chapters weren't adapted.

One plot hole I noticed is that when they said in the worst case scenario, Bon would get his memory deleted. If they could already do that why didn't they do it in ep1? Aside from that, I thought it was a solid ending. The ending scene where there punishment was canceled was actually borrowed from a chapter which wasn't adapted which is pretty cool.

I wish it had more episodes so all of them could be adapted and the overarching story could be longer. They were dropping foreshadowing here and there and bam, conclusion in one episode. The series seems to be doing very well in Japan though. The rating is quite high, higher than Your Name which really surprises me. A fan book and reprints of the manga was also recently released. I hope this gets an original movie or something

This finale was really good. But I'm sad that it's over. :(

Bon finally reunites with Ream after she left him in Season 1. He saved her life. That scene was emotional. But I wish there was a proper and longer scene where the two would catch up to speed properly.I'm glad Ream was able to save her old mentor Rosa too tho I don't quite get how she was able to do that. But good for them.

This episode was about students saving their mentors. Wonder when Yumi will save Bon. However, I suppose she has already saved him plenty of time on missions with her brilliant plans.

Which reminds me, won't there be a time when Bon and Yumiko have to part ways like he did with Ream? Tho it's going to be weird cause they live in the same time and place. But at least they won't be lonely outside of their missions I guess.

There was also the Doraemon New Birth of Japan movie with cameos from Bon, Ream and Yumiko. But in it the time patrol agents worked in large groups. What's up with that? I thought time patrollers (usually) worked alone. But things are different in serious cases involving time criminals I guess. But then, Bon, Ream, and Yumiko don't work in the crime division of the time patrol agency. I would've loved to see that movie's events from their perspective.

Overall, I think I liked Season 1 a bit more than Season 2. It's not that I disliked it because I got used to the formula. I just think the early episodes were pretty weak and boring with not many stakes or danger. There weren't many challenges and it seemed like Bon and Yumiko saved people in pretty convenient ways. But I'd say the last few episodes were good.

My favorite episodes of Season 2 were probably The Heike Fugitive, The Sumerian Boy, and the last few episodes including the ending.

I wish there was an episode that took place in the future. Maybe show 2050s America, where Ream Stream lives.

I loved Yumiko as a character near the end but I think I prefer Bon and Ream's dynamics a bit more in Season 1. Which is why I was sad when she left. I liked Ream as a skilled mentor and Bon as the clumsy junior. Would've loved to see more of those two together.

Since there are still some chapters that weren't adapted, I hope this anime gets a Season 3 adapting those missed chapters. I don't mind if it has fewer episodes or has some completely anime-original episodes. I know that Season 2 ended with an original ending since the manga was unfinished as the author died, but I'm sure they could come up with another season if they want it. I mean, Doraemon still gets new episodes so why not give T.P Bon some love too?

It's a shame that this show was not so popular outside Japan as I didn't see many people talk about it. But I think even if it was outside of Netflix jail it probably wouldn't be too popular since not many people are familiar with Fujiko F. Fujio outside of Japan and some Asian regions.

Overall, I loved this anime. I'm gonna miss it now that it's over. But I hope there will be more at some point in the future.

nice ending, although not one of my fav eps.

Overall I did prefer the second season to the first, and I do like that the eps make me think about them a lot...whether negatively or positively, I always find myself thinking about what they covered and how they covered it!
