| This story would actually be alright if the CGI animation wasn't so bad. Reminds me of Kingdom season 1. |
| Now we are getting to the real fun. Of every power fantasy. Touka's protagonist aura couldn't hide his massive shadow, and the confidence thats it brings. I like these types of characters. Much better the second they start behaving normally for the circumstances. Great to see they are not dragging out his episode 1-1.5 hopeless and depicted slow realization of his abilities. |

| Touka being thrown into the Ruins of Disposal, despite his lack of MP, deals with high-level monsters the way he only knows how. And like Anglin Bathard, the Great Sage, or the Hero of Darkness, whom like Touka, has been cast aside by the Goddess Vicius, he earns quite a deal of forbidden magic spells to aid him through the Ruins. But one monster in particular, the Soul Eater, is what caught Anglin, and Touka has to stop it to escape. The monster itself is an amalgamation of all the things that Touka hates, which is to kill humans, and it's quite the scary figure to come across, though he'd put on an act just to get the Soul Eater to drop its guard, and then inflict Paralyze and Poison to render its defeat, raising the souls for Touka's help to defeat Vicius. Amidst all the 3DCG which gave the show a rather creepy feel at the expense of subpar animation, Touka is an edgelord of an MC...done right. I'm very shooketh. |

| When they said " You have leveled up " i really felt that. LOL |
| So his character is bugged where XP=Lvl UP! At first I was getting triggered by his paralyze single target spam, but then realized 1. he hasn't unlocked AOE yet 2. spamming lets him level up I still personally would have poisoned, but totality of circumstances, his strat was better for leveling. Even though I knew he was faking it, I still got so triggered by his whining. I was gagging before he even got the eye, and then he ate it without hesitation. What a champ! Luckily he doesn't just have 100% Affliction rate and Leveling hack, he also had magical storage back that creates his world gas station food. I'm kind of torn, but will give 4/5 |

| I fell really sorry for Touka, awful parents, scumbag classmates. I like how op these status effect skills are. I really like the way he pretended to be defeated and then turn the tables on that giant head. |

| everybody complaining about the CGI, but I'm here cringing over the MC's chuuni monologue and how he has to give a speech every time instead of quickly casting poison like he should be doing. Like seriously? It's possible to convey the MC's thoughts without having him do an actual monologue in a room full of monsters where no one can even hear/understand him anyway. Make it a flashback scene with him narrating his thoughts instead of speaking it out. Would instantly make it 50% less cringe without changing any lines. Also, hard to feel sorry for that Kobato girl when she literally did nothing as our MC got sent to his death. |

A flashback to explain his thoughts ? It would just be a monologue with no acting. A monologue spoken alloud shows his true persona at work (Touka is absolutely ruthless and cunning).

| @groudonvert yea, that's exactly what I said. I would've preferred that given that they already are giving us flashbacks to his unfortunate past anyway. I agree that the monologue shows his true persona, but it doesn't come off as ruthless and cunning to me when he is screaming at himself in a room full of monsters, it feels more chuuni and cringe. A simple evil smirk would've achieved that while showing us his thoughts without the monologue. |
| His "I'm actually not a good guy" thing is cringe ngl. He's been saying he's trying to act normal, but he hasn't done anything out of the ordinary during his life lol. Yes, he had a tragic past but it's not like he went on and did illegal or questionable things because of it. I thought he had a period where he beat other people up for fun, but no he didn't do anything lol. |

| The 3D/CGI of the mc got a little good but still dont have any ideal why the CGI is so random on this episode like the sneaking should be frame by frame but they turn it GCI :V |
