Just looking at of how many volumes the visual novel has which consists of 8 volumes in total, I have to say that we need more episodes to fully adapt this series, or I do hope they won't cut it... (Not that I know if they did it in the past or not).

What are your thoughts to another sequel?! OwO (or spin-off?)
You can give me details if what I said are wrong or not. I won't bite...

I definitely want to see more of the main characters of Eden of Grisaia, but it looks like this series will give us a set of new main characters? (I have yet to watch the movie, so I wouldn't know)
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I am pretty sure they will only adapt volume 1 in one single cour and if it's popular and sell enough adapt the rest in later season. Phantom Trigger in difference of the original Grisaia offer more versatility in his adaptation because of how it was released.

Hell no. I played through all 9 Phantom Trigger novels (Not to mention the original Grisaia Trilogy and the sequel to both series, Chronos Rebellion) and this definitely would benefit best from 24 episodes.

And there is a sequel. It came out in 2023 and that's when I bought it and played through it. Grisaia: Chronos Rebellion. It has the cast from the original series, the cast from Phantom Trigger and a new cast as well.

Thankfully, that is not the case. The volumes 1-3 were released as films already, and the game makers have promised that episodes 3-8 will be released as a single season show. Sure, plans could change, but I would expect either a single 24 episode show, or 2 seasons of 12 episodes.

@Yui_Suzumiya69 Chronos Rebellion was released as a gacha in Japan in November 2020. There's also fan-service-heavy Grisaia Barcarolle from 2022, maybe it'll be translated one day.

@ninakali I'm talking about the non-Gatcha version of Chronos Rebellion that's just a straight up visual novel that takes about 50 to 60 hours to fully read. It's quite different from the original mobile game. The ending with Yuuji being finally revived points to a high chance of there being a sequel.

The Gatcha version has VN elements too, and the script for the beginning of it seems to be identical or nearly identical to the VN release. Unfortunately, only the first few chapters were preserved online, as far as I can tell.

It was an interesting read, but also the writing was all over the place, and the art style was inconsistent. But I'm glad it was released at all. Maybe we'll see more, would be nice.

@ninakali So you haven't read the Steam version of Chronos Rebellion yet? It's definitely worth it. Although the new class isn't as good as the original class and the Phantom Trigger girls. I do love the twist on how the original girls are essentially the same age despite this being set in the near future, lol. Michiru is my favorite and Her interactions with Rena are hysterical in this. I actually bought Chronos Rebellion day one on Steam back in 2023. I'm hoping for a physical version for Switch just like all the other Grisaia games.

No, don't worry, I'm saying I've read both Gatcha version and Steam version ;) it is definitely a must for someone who is a hardcore Mihama fan like me.
