1 Hour for an adventure, a detective adventure with a mission and a drama to the back! The story moved very quickly, and both the action and dramatic scenes do not go into depth! Regular jsut! kekeke |
| Visuals and setting are the only things it has, there's hardly any plot in it and the writing isn't very good, it doesn't even feel complete. |
| This wasn't bad or anything, but it feels more like a "part 1" than complete story. There seems to be SO MUCH, more to the world or even the characters that we follow. Hell even the movie's plot wasn't 100% resolved. From my understanding the other movie also takes place in this universe, so I will check it out, but I feel like even that wouldn't be enough. I don't really have any other complaints, I loved the backgrounds and music, and the style really stands out in a good way. |

Maybe one should start with the other movie, since it crams less information into 60 minutes and the introduction to the world is more gradual.

Knowing the works of Ryohgo Narita even a full blown series wouldn't be enough. Like Durarara had 60 episodes and still the story went nowhere and there were a lot unexplained plot threads.
| @alshu I looked it up on youtube cause I was searching for the ending song, and apparently this movie is meant to be a pilot film, and If I look at it as a pilot film, it's actually a really strong start. also I thought the durarara anime hasn't fully adapted the manga yet? also also, this doesn't seem to be from the same guy by the mal listing, are they wrong? |

(This is the main goal of any pilot - being a showcase for the producers to find some investors)...so the movie here is not a pilot, but here's an article about the watch order - https://epicstream.com/article/kurayukaba-kuramerukagari-watch-order-how-to-watch It turns out that Kuramerukagari is a spinoff of Kurayukaba, thus one should start with Kurayukaba. I still would prefer watching those in the reverse order...too late tho. APolygons2 said: are they wrong? | Other than the final segment, it had a lot of stuff going for it. Looked like Hashi No Mukou, and turns out it's the same guy, would love to get more of that too. |
