Yamanbagiri needs more confidence in himself...

This episode had some focus on these characters trying to fit with their roles including Fudo too. Some of them feels like they need more experience though. I also notice for now that some of the cast gets more screen time than others. Probably in due time, the others will get their chance to shine. Fudo definitely needs some character development imo.

They probably watched it on DMM TV or something. 🤔 maybe a Japanese streaming service. None of the overseas ones picked it up yet.

The anime is so short (only eight episodes) that I’m starting to doubt it lol

I liked it, mostly because I’m a Touken Ranbu fan already and know pretty much everything going on, even with the deviations from the stage play, buuut it does feel like it’s starting to drag a little already and we’re only two episodes in with six episodes left. Let’s get the main plot really going in the next episode, please. Also, it feels like Mikazuki is showing up way less than he was advertised already despite being a major character and the main focus in both the op and the Ed. While I acknowledge that this is likely because he’s doing shady stuff behind the scenes, but I’d like to see him onscreen more in the next episode, hopefully on a mission.

And why does he keep showing up fully dressed at night? Do you sleep?

Is there an official streaming platform that distributed this anime? Pirated version doesn't seem to be dropping on anywhere so I can get 1-2 months of membership to watch this legally. I do know that it's not on Crunchyroll since I'm subbed there already.

So nostalgic to see tourabu again, after all this time! Also very happy to see more of the earlier characters, because they got me into the game, though Yamanbagiri as a starter is funny, that master would never be lmao. On that note, this master is kinda weird looking? Wonder what's up with that, they're probably going to adress it as some point.
Also, it's very clear which characters are going to be the focus of this anime to get their story handled, and we won't get much of the other characters. I'm content so long I get enough of Shokudaikiri (since my other favorite characters aren't likely to appear). It's honestly fine with me because there isn't much plot in tourabu to begin with so if someone gets a character development, it's kinda like a bonus lol.

I honestly don't like the gloomy atmosphere of regrets and lamentation. And the new illustration between colors, light and shadow does not make them more attractive, now they look like strange dolls.
