Well, that's the end. I wasn't expecting anything. Truly had potencial, but lost it's path on the way. First time reading an axed manga.

Fuck shueisha, WSJ is the worst. This is the worst thing they could have happened.

Still. This was a nice ending. I’m still upset by how shueisha treated this series

Went with an open end, one I can live with but still it sucks this got axed. Wish it got atleast a few more chapters for a more proper wrap up. Gonna miss Minerva.

These people are so fake half of them wanted the other half dead and now they make group poses like the avengers???
Also, 1 dude, the one who always eats, didn't even get a name or a backstory, escaba also didn't get a backstory, we only saw it by the other guy's perspective
Too bad that the series never got to show the seal releases

I bet these should have been the series domain expansions/bankai

The pressure put on the author with risk of axing while giving hope that he has chance to survive (thanks to having good sales), to then axe him even faster than expected, left it's mark on the series.

It didn't feel like closure at all. I would rather the author to have as bad sales as Two on Ice, so he could focus on doing his own thing and making satisfying ending for last 10+ chapters, like Two on Ice did. (It didn't even end yet, and it already has better closure.)

I liked the series overall a lot. So I'm extra bitter I think. WSJ never triggered me like this. And I'm reading all series on WSJ since 2019.

It really felt like the author was pressured to change the manga as he went along to not get axed. Adding a new female character every few chapters. It’s a shame the fear of being axed probably just made it come faster. It had potential. Hopefully the author goes on to do another manga that doesn’t get axed.

I'll always hate when Shueisha axes a series then saves the real final chapter to boost sales for the final volume. Especially with how blatant this one was.

@Red_Ranger_Wien

Aren't they usually adding "The end! Read more in the graphic release!" instead of "the end", when it's the case?

I'm referring to Build King, which I checked out rn, it's at the end of chapter 20 (pre-volume releasee)

This series fell off so hard in quality after the start but its still sad to see it go without really recovering. Dont know if it was lack of planning, bad editors, or a combo of both but the start of this series was really special and its just depressing that it kind of stopped having any of that charm around chapter 6 or 7

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

I loved this series but ooooof this ending was ass. While there still is more, like build king I will never know cause I am not buying the volume. Good night sweet prince you were always a cut above the rest and I hope the author tries again.

I think this is the first time I've read the manga from the start to see it get axed. It had potential and was decent while it lasted. I really wanted it to continue but kinda always felt like it was going to get axed. I hope the writer comes back with another piece one day.

Same here. I don’t regret it though, I already read one of his one-shots and he’s good.

I’m a fan now.

my main issue with this series is that it has lack of focus and it's really show up since start. it's begin with awesome mother and son relationship, then suddenly turn into unfocused action? then pseudo harem? also war of different worlds? like what? shame since it's looks cool. 6/10

good ending. wrapped things up and left some for the imagination and possible continuation. does shueisha squat on IPs like Viacom, can the mangaka continue the manga elsewhere or even write light novels?

@ravingLimey sadly the author can't continue it, Shueisha retains the IP even after axed it
