I keep updated and watch the new anime episodes every day, yesterday I checked the season catalogue and saw this. I know every anime coming out this season but this just suddenly appeared with a crazy high rating, and it’s the middle of the season and this wasn’t added before being released. I watched the first episode and the animation budget has to be crazy, this anime has animation comparative to solo leveling but it just popped out of nowhere. If anyone knows anything about this anime and isn’t as lost as I am please explain.

It's the first big debut project of E&H Productions, a new studio formed by Sunghoo Park, the director for JJK S1, JJK0, GoH, and Garo. People's expectations are quite high considering the director's track record for delivering awesomely choreographed fights and from the first episode, he delivered it in spades.

As for the plot, I mean you've watched the first episode so you can tell what the plot is. People loved the John Wick series despite how simple the premises are and this show gives off the same vibes so far so people are understandably excited, mostly because we can definitely expect some awesome fight sequences.

Also, before anyone corrects me, yes I'm aware that Monsters (the One Piece one-shot manga adaptation also done by the studio and released earlier this year) exists but from what I know, this show was in production since 2021 compared to Monsters which apparently had a rushed production because the producers gave the studio little time.

the dub is released at the same time as the sub.
and the dub is smooth. more action then solo leveling
i kinda liked the American faces. looked cool. and she was like a bad ass.

This was announced a long time ago, but MAL just now put it on the site. That's why it seems to have come out of no where. There's plenty of information about it on animenewsnetwork.com

basically MAL didn't Approve it until it started airing because it was by Adult swim and warner bros if I'm not mistaken

If you like the anime but feel lost in the first episode, I’d say that’s not unusual. There are many anime that start off with very little world building/backstory and have scenes in later episodes that do those things. The first episode, similarly in writing, can be viewed as a “hook” to draw you in to watch more and give the anime a chance. Give the anime 3-4 more episodes and you will likely be much more clear on what is happening.

Same here. This show came out of nowhere and it was an absolute banger. I think the reason it wasn't in the MAL database, is because it wasn't counted as an Anime before. Same thing that happened with Scott Pilgrim ig.
