Wistoria:Wand and Sword getting an anime adaptation. Studio ACTAS is doing the animation production. if you didn't know it's a subsidiary studio of Bandai Namco also previously known as Studio Sunrise. So many wrong things in this sentence. Bandai Namco is the head company that owns Sunrise (they rebranded its law entity to Bandai Filmworks or something but the studio brand name is still Sunrise). Actas was an independent studio for the long which was purchased by Bandai a few years ago. This series is co-production of Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures (BN Pictures). BN pictures is a studio formed from part of former Sunrise studios (Sunrise had 13 of them in past, not sure how much now and if some of them were fully transferred or the staff was just split). |
