first Dirty Pair thing I've watched and it was a genuine joy. the animation and style are gorgeous and it may be the most 80s thing of all time. 9/10 will watch again

the reviews are pretty nitpicky about the characterization, but imo it's a great, fun little action scifi movie and i have no complaints. what really sticks out is how the character animation in this era was just so much better than current shows overall. the way the characters movie is so complex and fun.

more people should watch it

I wish more people would watch it. The old Streamline dub wasn't terrible either.

Naaah.
Those insane visuals (mechanical design, animation, trippy colours) are wasted on Dirty Pair which ecchi nonsensical humour works for me only in the shorter TV format.

Yeah and what's with the bland songs? I mean, they are tradition for the franchise, but this here was excessively mid.
