| This chapter is a rollercoaster of emotions. Pain, hope, sorrow, relief, trauma, dreams, misunderstandings, confessions, seeking for safety... Yuko must've sincerely realized how tragic and twisted was her youth, without omitting any painful details. It was full of dramatic and traumatic moments that have made her the person she is now; rich in moments when fleeting ray of hope, represented mostly by Esemori, couldn't be grasped despite being so close. Her past also had grotesque moments. This makes Yuko's laugh from the final page even deeper, as it was pretty much crying through laughing. As expected, the detective appeared just in time to stop Reiji, blinded by rage and emotions suppressed for years, from doing anything stupid. We will have to wait a little bit longer for the next chapter. It appears there will be another break. Oh well. |
