| I don't think it's an ad as much as a destigmatization of the concept of online schools, specifically in the context of it being different, and therefore seen as something outside of "normal". It's meant to show that there's options for everyone, options that can leave them more comfortable than regular public teaching that someone in a position like Kaede's can take. |

| lol thanks, i was not the only who thought this. Completely weird looong episode of this series: - Nothing supernatural in the plot; - Pretty much an ad for online schools that fit a lot the japanese problem of socializing issues. I'm curious if there is some kind of a huge franchising of online schools in Japan. They really loved what this movie did. |
