The manga has finished and rated really well so I guess the anime wasn't popular enough when it aired.

Nope, not for now at least. Don't get me wrong but the first season was absolute perfection. Like a passion project. From animation, music, voice acting to fight scenes, everything was perfect. At today's date everything Mappa touches ends up getting fucked in some aspect whether it be animation, pacing, or other general delays & controversies.

Let's wait till they get their hands free from jjk and (possibly) Chainsawman. Their workers would also be able to put more passion in their work if they get some more time.

I thought it was really good that and BNA and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! They deserve justice in my opinion but I hope they bring this anime back I haven’t read the manga and I want to but unfortunately I have rent and stuff but god I hope they give us another season

Never liked Mappa's Dorohedoro so hopefully if it gets picked up again it would be made by a different studio.

lessgooo now that aot is done ..hayashi's team ( the team that animated s1) is free ... they should announce s2 with hayashi in charge 😭😭 this show deserves another season

Hayashi was literally the director of the first season and his staff switched on to AoT after dorehodoro first season.......

I haven't finished the manga yet... I immediately bought the entire collection, with the exception of a view volumes I couldn't get my hands on, after the anime finished airing. So much love. I hope they give it a quality second season. I don't care how long I have to wait 🥰.

this was the same team that animated s1 ...since when taking up aot mappa didn't have a designated team and hayashi just finished dorohedoro s1 , they were assigned to aot, and now that aot is over they are available ( I guess , if they aren't assigned to some other project)... and if there's a s2 I hope it gets a good schedule 🤞

ya I hope it gets picked up by the same studio that animated berserk you fucking moron . dorohedoro as far as CG anime goes is one of the best and its literally not possible to hand draw dorohedoro, the manga art is just too good . hating on good CG anime doesn't make you cool 👍

Screw you man. Dorohedoro deserves a major treatment like Frieren this season. You can like the CGI all you want, doesn't change the fact that we can get much better than what we got.
