I should probably hold up on this because I’m not even done the first episode but what if the doctor that save Paulo was a post-monster Tenma? That would be funny but Idk the doctor might be important later on because they didn’t show him this is very interesting so far.

It would be hilarious but out of character if Tenma went around saving all the lives he saved for free, then suddenly went “glad you’re alive hope you have insurance though”.

It was Dr.Black Jack from another classic Manga series, but this character inspired Urasawa to create Tenma. So you are half right.
