| so this, it's alternate version as well as Episode of Bardock & Yo Son Goku & Friends never received official dubs...and it just seems like a wasted opportunity to me. There's some other obscure specials too that also weren't, but the ones I mentioned at least seem like viable options, and missed opportunities. Considering Adult Swim recently aired Kai & DBS, I'm firm in the belief that dubs of these could've found a broadcast home somewhere, and then even if they couldn't in the age of streaming it definitely could've at least performed there and then ofc home media... it's dragon ball..especially something niche with no release yet like these...would be snapped up instantly but a lot of hardcore fans. It just seems like such an oversight to me that that wouldn't pick these up, and produce, market and sell these dubs. The entire crew has reunited many times since for multiple games, movies and the entirety of DBS. The four I mentioned literally amounts to 5 extra episodes worth of content, a few extra days recording for them could've easily tagged producing these on to any of these recordings. There must be more to it behind the scenes of why these never happened...I wonder if they have at least tried to make some of these happen at some point. |
