Did not expect the dad comment.

Imagine getting friend-zoned dad-zoned, lol Mie's just hilarious. Fair though, that's on Komura for babying her too much. Even Mie is aware she's being too spoiled.

From where I'm from, it's more insulting than a compliment to be called motherlike/fatherlike at an early age (most especially during middle school). How would ya'll take it if someone you like refers to you as a parental figure?

Some people like getting called "Daddy" ~(sugar daddy reference)~ from where I'm from πŸ˜‚ Jk , if we're imagining a scenario where the person I like sees me as parental figure I would like it , every child tries to find the qualities that are similar to that of their parents. (My personal opinion ofc)

Agree, that way the person we like will be more relaxed and less awkward.. 😏

When I was growing up I always heard that women go for men who are like their father. Personally I am the kind of person that is like a mother hen so I don’t think that it would bother me . I guess it depends on the context.

given this is Mie, I'm choosing to take it as "you make me feel safe"

the option I like most but probably isn't the case, "You'd make a good dad, so I'm gonna make you into a father." that's way too advanced for these kids though.

I gotta agree with a lot of people here, both with people seeking a significant other who resembles their parents, and that what she said proves that she feels safe with Komuru.

But to be honest would i also say that there is a bit more depth to it, because of the fact that the dad is the one she does all the fun stuff with. He takes her out places, buy glasses and fought for her morning coco. Which she sees in Komura, a guy that wants the best for her and someone who makes her smile. So it's still because Komuru resembles her dad, this is just some more reasons behind it.

As long as the girl has a good relationship with her dad, I'd take it as a compliment. Idk how I would have felt about it at his age though lol
