| That handsome guy definitely seemed kinda suspicious and well, it's too bad Suzu got caught into his trap. Turns out, he is a demon after all and the episode didn't take long to reveal his true colors. I really hope this is a lesson for Suzu to learn, and not trust others so easily. As expected, Maturi and her friends had to take care of business as usual. |

| Children, that's why it's important never to talk to strangers, cause you'll get kidnapped. One random day, a handsome transfer student, Sousuke Hinojiki, approached Suzu. He had found an injured spirit and wanted Suzu's help to save it. However, his true identity was a "Hito Ayakashi," the highest-ranking spirit evolved from a foreign soul. He had set a trap with the intention of devouring Suzu. Matsuri and Souga head into enemy territory to rescue Suzu, but awaiting them is a bunch of Iyo. In a way, this episode felt like a turning point imo. This Sonsuke guy isn't a joke. The way Sonsuke ate that Ayakashi was scary. But At least we got to see some Matsuri and Souga collaboration moments. Though it's not for long, as Sonsuke's power is far to great for Matsuri, and in the battle he "dies". Leaving Suzu defenseless and Sousuke with his ultimate dish. Oh shit Shirogane is back! The King of Aykashi is unsealed! What will he do? Protect the humans he despises, or continue as the King of Aykashi? This is getting intense I can't lie. |

| He has Kirito's VA lmao. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka the harem king! 17:48 The animation was quite nice here. Reminds me of Zenitsu. Oh damn I didn't actually expect Shirogane to break the seal until like, the very end of the story. And is that Hatsune Miku I hear in the background? No way right? |

| Well well, the enticing boy has arrived, just as Shirogane had predicted, and him looking to Suzu for help, it's suspicious as heck. And though Sosuke Hinojiki presents himself this way as the innocent one, Shirogane saw them on scene as Suzu is using her haku to revive an Ikon, though he ate it without question and kidnapped her as an evolved ultimate Ikon - the Jinyo, humanoid ayakashi. It's been awhile since Shirogane saw one, and its effects are even more dangerous than an Ikon. Though Suzu believes that Matsuri can save her, the space around is surrounded by evolved Iyo, which makes it hard for Matsuri and Ninokuri to proceed ahead. Shirogane now as no doubt that the recent surfacing Ikon were all the Jinyo's doings, though this information is not shared to the exorcists because he has a stand on his own. Even Ninkkokuru has improved thanks to Garaku, and Matsuri must improve, though how Sosuke devours haku is through the human touch since they are alike most humans. Felt with fear and despair, Suzu drops spiritually dead, though Shirogane came for the save by unlocking the seal that he's been trapped forever. The King of Ayakashi is back, and protecting humans is his priority. Good to see old Shirogane back. |

| Does Matsuoka Yoshitsugu ever take a break? Dude is in 3-4 seasonals per season lmao. He was great as Sonouske in this. Very sus that a guy who’s never spoken to Suzu just comes out of nowhere and asks for something. First red flag. Then using her to bring an ayakashi back to life, red flag number two. Eating the damn ayakashi that was brought back to life is another red flag lol. He’s definitely the best antagonist this series has had so far. The hype they’ve been giving him for the past couple weeks paid off. Brutal and brazen. Doesn’t even care that Suzu and the king of ayakashi are close. Matsuri getting his spirit literally eaten was rough. He’s usually someone who can handle these things. Shows you how strong Sonosuke is. Aw shit unsealed shirogane??? King of ayakashi at full power here? That final scene was probably the most epic this anime has had. Can’t wait to see their fight next week |

| Best cat coming in at the end. But this still spells trouble as he couldnt win the last time either. Can best girl help. Totally got a warrior princess vibe coming on sitting on his back! Best boy, is he really dead? Next week should be immense! |

| I knew the moment we saw this really strong ayakashi show up and “kill” matsuri one of 3 things would happen. 1. Matsuri gets some stupid plot armour boost 2. Suzu uses her powers in a rage to defeat souske 3. Shirogane takes the opportunity while matsuri is “dead” to unseal himself. Seeing option 3 happen and shirogane finally return to his original form wasn’t what I was expecting. I honestly just expected Matsuri to gets some stupid plot armour boost. But I’m happy with how it turned out. We hardly see shirogane’s origin form I forget that it’s actually a really cool and menacing design very befitting of the king of ayakashi. I’m definitely gonna buy the manga I really like this show a lot. |

| This enemy is kind of like a Mirror to Suzu. They're both Gluttons but Suzus power gives life force while the Jinyo Sousuke takes it. |
