I recently came across this manga that caught my interest, but I have a question before I start reading it. As a male reader, I was wondering if it's appropriate for me to read this particular josei manga. I value your insights and opinions, so I'd appreciate any thoughts you can share about whether this manga would be a good fit for me.

I'm sorry, but why do you feel that it may not be appropriate to read this as a male reader? Even if it's Josei and intended towards older women, there is nothing wrong with reading what interests you. Personally, I enjoy so many shoujo anime and manga, and I have never wondered about something like this. As for the work itself, I highly recommend it as the artwork and storyline is quite interesting and wholesome at times. I enjoy the interactions and representation of ptsd, and I look forward to seeing where the plot goes. I'm a sucker for found family, and a good amount of this manga so far hints me toward something much deeper than what's being presented on the surface level. It is quite depressing, though, so far with small bits of wholesome moments sprinkled throughout.
