Mie’s inconsistent blindness & forgetfulness and Komura’s overreaction is the parts of the attempted comedies, its also the basis for most of the “dissatisfaction” towards this series. General “reviewers” consensus concluded that its to quote “Laughably Bad” while the general audiences have a more positive outlook.

So does this mean the comedies touches the “reviewers” heart enough to invoke somewhat of amusement?

Do everyday people really if any enjoys the comedies?

i enjoy comedy anime only if the jokes are actually decent but with most anime from japan the comedy is over the top same goes for the reactions, thats just lame af imo. its just a cultural difference.

this anime is pretty average though the only good thing is the art, story is pretty lame same goes for the jokes.

The comedy feels not only forced and exaggerated, but it’s also repetitive. At least to my eyes, that’s how I see it. I understand that this is a lighthearted romcom between two young teenagers, that’s perfectly fine but the comedy just does not do it for me.

I personally look for comedy where it doesn’t rely on tropes and is really chaotic or absolutely random, Nichijou or Saiki K are examples.

The comedy is anime funny and not actually funny for the most part. Definitely more of a show to watch for the romantic story, which I think is above average.

They're comedy is doing the same thing over and over as if like they cannot make story of her forgetting or not wearing glassess and the idiot mc acting all weird and annoying like a complete twat. To that is not comedy it's garbage

But I imagine maybe this thing resonate better with japanese audience

This series uses so many tired high school romcom tropes I wouldn't be surprised if you told me it was created by an AI. The MC freaking out about an indirect kiss, the MC insisting that the girl might not be interested in him no matter what she says or does, the MC constantly screaming incoherently.

Christ. If she's still into him after seeing him scream this much I'm wondering if the show shouldn't be The Girl I Like Forgot Her Hearing Aids.

It's amazing how last season Dangers had so many of the same tropes, yet used them in so much of a better, more satisfying way.

I love it personally. Sure I'm not balling my eyes out in laughter, only one anime has ever done that for me (prison school). However, not all comedy needs to do this. Sometimes I just want some light hearted comedy which this provides in abundance. Ain't no complaints here

Really salty that Isekai Enjoyer gave you a beatdown verbally huh?

For the 100th time, Dangers in my Heart is mid beyond mid. At least you can admit its super tropey AF, but this anime does the tropes way better and doesnt pander to your coomer brain with a super model middle schooler inlove with some loser.

I blame most of it on Komura’s voice actor. It’s not about his delivery, but about the fact this bro keeps moaning for no reason at all.

And it’s annoying. This is why most manga readers generally agree that early Komura is much more tolerable (and actually funny) in the manga.

He’s a pretty well written character. Just not a particularly likeable one at first.

Some of the comedy is actually funny to me. Not to the point that it makes me laugh, but it’s satisfying enough for me to enjoy it.

This anime is good to me. Anime is a solid 7/10 and the manga a solid 8/10.

But comedy is 100% not it’s strongest point. Hell, I don’t think it’s even listed as a comedy.

It’s fluff.

It’s not supposed to make you die of laughter or something like the Konosuba movie.

Most of his screams are explicitly internal, so this is kind of a non-argument.

Plus, I can’t believe you’re seriously back at trying to elevate BokuYaba for no reason at all AGAIN.

It’s not that good. Loser gets idol. Just accept it.

You are aware that's just like, your opinion, right? So many people seem to want to espouse their opinions as facts, that it's honestly getting hard to tell these days. Now, I don't love the show by any means, but it's highly scored literally everywhere, even on elitist Anidb it has a 7.35 (weighted) rating, so whether you like it or not, it clearly did something right. It might be one thing to compare manga, but in terms of adaptations, there's absolutely no contest here.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

Okay?

This show is dogshit. But you know what? There are people out there who like dogshit, and I'm not here to yuck their yums. Gobble up, shit-fiends. We're only halfway through the season! There's so much more AAAAAHHHHHHH SHE TOUCHED MY HAND AAAAAHHH to come.

Comparisons to Dangers are going to happen. It's an easy comparison to make. Both are shonen short form gag comics that they're trying to turn into a cohesive show. Both eventually develop into a series with longer stories to tell. Dangers had a very successful run last season. It's just natural. If Komi had had a series last season, it would also be a good comparison. Kubo is seinen, but might also make for a good comparison if it weren't for the production mess really ruining its reception. Love is War, tho also seinen, follows a lot of the same patterns. But the idea of comparing Love is War to The Boy I Like Shit His Pants When He Drank Out Of My Cup is absolutely ridiculous.

It's sweet that you remembered my name, tho. Sadly, The Poster You Like Doesn't Know Who You Are.
