Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! (light novel)
I knew that World of Konosuba has alive vegetables, like cabbage in first season. Now I have seen alive potatoes, but even tulips are alive! It seems in World of Konosuba crayfish is always red be it alive or cooked, opposite to dark green in our World:  This face of Yunyun, when everyone practiced their chuunibyou speech and poses is hilarious:  I heard many times: "Do you want bath? Dinner? Or me?" But with Cecily I heard new version: "Would you like to take a bath? Or take me? Or convert to Axis sect?"  It was hilarious when Megumin destroyed gargoyles and Komekko shouted: "Aaa, older sister erased-blew up all chicken meat!" XD Also now I know who was behind these recruit schemes with dropped apples and being assault in Arcanletia in season 2. Megumin, damn it! XD It was nice to hear voices and see Aqua, Kazuma, and Darkness. And end of this spin-off nicely connected to the start of season 1. In over-all this spin-off is decent. Not good as 1st and 2nd seasons, but still was enjoyable. I hope to see Cecily in season 3, this wacko Axis priest is hilarious XD What are your thoughts? |

| It was good... Had my hopes up cause well, konosuba is one of my favorite shows(and ik s3 is freaking hilarous as well). This spinoff too, had it's moments but it wasn't anything extraordinary. |

| Megumin herself is literally a one-note character so of course, she could not carry the show. I dont expect anyone to care about a "origin story" about Megumin when the origin that made people like her was already done in season 1 of Konosuba. |

| how can anyone say this was good, this was straight awful. It basically destroyed konosuba's reputation and konosuba went from almost mid 8ds to now low 7s. If you compare this to other ln spinoffs, you are going to realize how bad this is. This show was practically filler, with backstory no one could careless about. Jokes were just repackaged from the original, and the cameos were done poorly. The villain got one shotted. This was the third most anticipated show of the season and it dropped out of top 10 on trending and corner by week 3. |

| As someone who loved Konosuba s1, 2, and the movie I despised the spinoff to my surprise. Kazuma really sets Konosuba up as a very interesting show. Megumin does not have the strength or unique nature to carry the lead role into something funny. The masochist Darkness and the ego of Aqua might have made for a better spinoff. That is just my opinion though. |

| As you said, I thought it was decent, but not as good as the 2 seasons of the show. If they follow the same pattern as previous seasons (adapting 2 books per season), we will not see Cecily in season 3 (she appears in the 8th book, the 3rd season would adapt 6th and 7th books). |
The one possibility we get to see her in season 3 is if instead of the usual 10 episodes we get 12 or 13 of them, in which case they could decide to adapt three books (6th, 7th and 8th which is the one with Cecily). Of course we could also get a season 4 one day, who knows :) |

| I though that the spin off was alright, but just wasn’t Konosuba. Konosuba needs Kazuma as the MC to feel like Konsuba, without him, it just want funny as he is the straight man of the group. I’m hoping S3 will be a lot better, seeing as the S1 and S2 director is returning for it along with the spin-off director. |
