| Whoa, the background story of Lanteveldt is rough to watch. It seems that his species has a bad reputation. It also sucks that he got imprisoned for a suspected crime even without definite proof. Nonetheless, I think this episode captured a decent degree of detail about his character, past, etc. |

| It's no surprise that Lante has developed a deep sense of mistrust. Given the hardships he endured during his upbringing, anyone would be wary. However, things have started to change ever since he met Sari. She has a remarkable ability to win over almost anyone she encounters. Both Lante and the captain have fallen under her charm and influence. Anubis should stop resisting Sari's charisma and simply admit defeat, as it seems she is unstoppable in winning people over. |

| “Sariphi is the only one who gets to boss me around. She’s the only one my heart listens to” 😢 😢 After seeing Lante backstory those words hit so deep man. I was so sick watching him struggle to keep his mom alive just to have it taken from him because of racial prejudice. There’s so much rot and bigotry in that kingdom that Sariphi is going to have to root out. She’s winning over one person at a time, tho. This show has got so good over the last few weeks, wow. Become one of my favourites of the year. Was a slow burner, but once it hooks you it really hooks you. Criminally slept on too |

| Well that was a emotional episode it was so good to see landevolt past and how he changed a bit because of Sariphi. Her development is nice and now he is a knight. |

| What a shitty way for someone to die having medicine stolen from you by some high ranking twats What Lante said about persons hating themselves for how others treat them is so true. Though it's not the only reason someone might have issue with themselves but still it's really true and i hate that so many people dont acknowledge that and instead pass all blame onto the people that feel that way as if it rests solely on them. I wish I had someone like Sari in my life to believe in me. |

| Our poor lonely hyena. A sad backstory of Lante. It irks me when they put all the blame on a poor little Hyenian kid like him. Back to the present, it's good that Sariphi is there for him who trusts and believes him. And that giraffe captain helped them, so now the problem is solved, they found the culprit. Heh, Lante being a knight of a queen suits him. |

| Lante's backstory is really sad. Glad to see Sari won Lante's trust. :D P.S Little Lante is really adorable. :D |
| With Lord Braun's injuries, Lante is immediately pointed as the assailant on the accusation of falsehood. But this does not fly by Sariphi, and Captain Teiryn will be her witness until the investigation is over before the ceremony. The thing is, like Sariphi, Lante lived a life worse than death as Hyenians, outcasted by the kingdom. Just a simple gesture of a child bringing medicine to his ailing mother, everyone despised him because of societal norms, though Sariphi was the first to touch his heart of someone who could've showed him that warmth. With Lante exonerated from the crime that was committed by someone else, something like fur can be seen by the human eye, that could not be seen with the creatures' eye. That led Captain Teiryn to the true attacker, though Sari demands an apology from his men, the ceremony is much more significant. Though Captain Teiryn is to blame for his men leaving their post at the point of attack, Sariphi reassures that hopeully they will meet again in the future. A humble defeat from Lante saw him renounce his complete devotion to Sariphi, and the wayward journey back home, she's only sleeping soundly. Though against Leo, Lante chooses to take pride in his Hyenian blood, and he'll only take orders from her, which adds weight to Leo's announcement that he is to be her knightly guard. Climb the ranks, Lante. |

| Lante's past blowed hard :( The discrimination in this show was as blatant as always. It's no dealbreaker for me considering the general tone of this series, but the backstories could've been more creative to leave a lasting impact. That's it for the nitpicking. Lante pledging loyalty was a beautiful moment. Great episode and with another character added to the ensemble cast it's bound to get more fun. |

| I think this episode made me like Sariphi more, before I was 50/50 about her and intentions she has, but this episode I really started to like her :D Could say I've fallen into her charm now lol Lanteveldt is a great addition to the character cast and he's just a year older than Sariphi. If he would be interested in Sari, I think it would be more appropriate imo cuz they have just 1 year age difference, in comparison to the king who is probably over 100 years old cuz he's a beast and he's also complete adult man Omg Ilya in next episode? I was hoping to see him again and I'm happy it's happening, same with Lante, I was pretty sure they won't show him again but now that he's Sari's knight so it's great knowing we'll see him more about him too 👍💕 |

| Lante was on a sad lonely road without anyone he could put his trust in. I'm glad Sari is this beacon of positivity he can believe in. I also like that the giraffe captain showed Lante what it means to have proper authority since he is now a high ranking individual. |
