The truth is I finished watching it and I liked it, especially the ending they gave it, the ending is a bit bitter but I can say that with that final episode the plot was understood

I feel you, most of the episodes don't really have anything to do with the overarching plot, but they are still fun as you get to spend time with the characters and that's exactly what the show is about. The episodes centred around the individual members of the main group are still the best though. The last few episodes make it worth a watch. I'll recommend to go through with it, the finale is great.

The only episodes that flow together are the ones that say (part 1) and (part 2). Everything else isn’t meant to flow together as it’s an episodic show. Would it make sense to judge SpongeBob since the episodes don’t flow together?

While I watch this anime, I feel like "And?". Where is the story going? Most episodes feel like they aren't contributing to anything. The characters are very well introduced, we get a good background of their life. Yes, I didn't complete watching it, but I believe that if the plot doesn't seem to be going anywhere after watching half the anime's episodes, then it's not worth my time. It felt like I'm watching fillers.

I can say that you are right, the middle episodes sometimes aren't that important for story progression, but you aren't ready for the ending. I can totally say that after watching the ending you will definitely miss those episodes.

There is a background plot that is a explored in 4-5 separate episodes but other than that it's completely episodic. It's a character driven show, not a plot driven show. I have to admit I usually don't enjoy episodic series but I still love Cowboy Bebop because it was a great experience. If you see the episodes so far as fillers and you're waiting for the main plot to be revealed then it's not going to happen so maybe it's just not for you.

Particularly, I really understand you. Because Cowboy Bebop it's not about the plot, drama or moral - it's just about experience

As others have said, the series is very episodic. It's like a SOL with great action, music, and characters. If you need the characters to have some kind of grand goal beyond living their lives, then you should drop the show and pick up Samurai Champloo. Same creator, good music, great action, and the characters have a defined mission.

It’s episodic, I don’t know what you were expecting. It has an underlying story, but it’s more about the individual adventures.

Nothing wrong with Shลnen, I think he just doesn’t get that it’s meant to be episodic. Firefly is exactly the same, and that’s one of the most highly rated TV shows of all time (9/10 on IMDB).

It’s a slow burner: the last twoish episodes are the only ones where the plot begins to move at the generally accepted pace for an anime. It’s the same as something like Better Call Saul—the slower moments build character and introduce their complexities, and the payoff is amazing. Second viewing will make you appreciate how beautiful the smaller moments are.

If by Jupiter Jazz you can’t stand it, then you could drop it—it won’t get much more explosive than that until the end. But believe me, it’s worth it!

Cowboy bebop is character centric, meaning it’s a character driven story. In simple words, its main focus is not plot development but character related stories and development. If you don’t like stories like that, then don’t waste your time.
