| It's great to see Sariphi taking care of business her role. She's becoming more independent even though she does have a bodyguard this episode for her latest task. Not going to lie, I do enjoy seeing Sariphi's development and dealing with complicated tasks in unfamiliar territory. Her character is also showing more confidence compared to the first episodes when she first appeared. |

| New OP and ED! Second cour of Niehime finally here. Highlight of my day is Sari wagging her finger in the soldiers faces telling them off about discriminating against Lente lmao. She’s got a lot bolder in the last few weeks, some really nice character development. She and Lente actually are a perfect pair because they’re both unfairly discriminated against. This kingdom has so much toxic brainrot and hate in it, Sariphi and the king will have their work cut out for them. Speaking of which after that heart to heart Leo and Sariphi had last week, that was probably the most emotional we’ve seen him be with her when he said goodbye today. Cute episode. |

| i like lante, he seems like a sweetheart. he's definitely about to be framed for that attack though, but i just know sariphi will stand up for him and find a way to prove him innocent. and the lante will probably end up being her second biggest defender after leon. |

| Man, it was satisfying seeing Lante literally land on Anubis’ head lo.l It's amusing how he may come across as a bit of a rogue, but at least his intentions are transparent. Unlike Anubis, Lante doesn't seem to be involved in any ulterior motives. Anubis appears to be guarding Sari solely for his personal benefit. Surprisingly, in this world, Hyenians face discrimination almost as severe as humans do in the demon realm. Lante seems oblivious to the challenges he's about to face here. Eventually, Sari's kindness manages to win over everyone's hearts. I highly doubt that Lante is the one responsible for Braun's attack, despite the show's attempt to make us believe so. |

| I like how Lante just hangs his tongue out all the time. I am not sure what to think of a character as indifferent as he is. Doesnt really seem to care about anything but himself or stand for anything at least as currently is. Though it's amusing indifference makes him one of the least bigoted characters. |

| The 2nd Cour starts here with a new OST, and it's just as good as the 1st Cour. Sariphi has been living scot-free, and now it's time for her 2nd talk: to visit the Maasya garrison...alone. This is a request from Chancellor Anubis, in light of Leo's old friend being bedridden and his kingdom being crowned a new ruler. Of course, Leo naturally opposes this due to how Sariphi will be treated, though she has made up her mind anyways as means to improve herself and not be overly dependent on him all the time. Leo entrusting Sariphi with his feelings as he departs for his old friend's place, Anubis is to find new guards for Sariphi through the Queen's Guard, though creatures serving humans are empty as heck...though one would show up: Lantenveldt, hailing from the Hyenian Autonomous District. And since Anubis ate his own karma that no one wants to protect her, so is Lanteveldt being the only one honourable as her protection. Lante's a rather crass dude, he's here for a promotion, though he did not expect that he would be the only one who's capable of handling situations, like encountering sand serpents and beating the heck out of them. Being the Acting Captain of the troupe, Lante has enough suspicions as an outsider to command palace troops, though to Sariphi, she is unsure of. Indeed, Lante deliberately led them to that course, though he'll do any nook and cranny to ensure that he gets the promotion, which Sariphi promises with her life in tow. Arriving into Maasya, Lante has a disdain for the soldiers, though commander Teiryn apologizes on their behalf, with less time to consider that Sariphi has to give her word on stage as the acting queen consort. Conveying Leo's words to them, Sariphi invokes encouragement and reassurance, though Lante feels otherwise that she does not feel that she's important. The present Lord Braun welcomes Sariphi, though this land of Maasya has seen quite the controversy with anti-monarchists, that the signing agreement has to be done sooner. The accusations continue against Lante, though Sariphi is well-knowledged about his tribe's history with Ozmargo, that this was the past, and it should be overlooked. Despite Lante's dishonesty and testing of Sariphi, she still trusts him, and that is enough for her. But an attack on Lord Braun, the situation has turned worse than ever. A testing that gets more notorious... |

| Lante is in for a surprise once he realizes she's that trusting and very rarely suspects others. His skills and strength are the real deal, so I think he's alright as long as he does his job. |
