Since the light novel is already finished at vol. 16. Getiing a season 2 is very slim because there is no more incentive to make more anime. Thought??

Source material finishing usually diminishes chances for a sequel, because most anime are made to promote source material.
Chances are still there, but if they did planned a sequel, I'm pretty sure we would already have it.

Yeah your right that's probably the case here. But recently Jobless reincarnation got a season 2 even thought the light novel is also finished. Yeah I know Jobless Reincarnation was very successful compare to spider isekai. But I hope we still got a second season.

Bro
Jobless Reincarnation is a different case,
They freaking started a totally new studio specifically focused on it. They are going to adapt the whole thing, otherwise why would they open a whole new studio for it.

The anime remains unfinished without a second season, she doesn’t even meet her classmates again, it needs a finish
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

It's Isekai so already less chance of getting sequel lol. Only lucky isekais get sequel quickly

Mushoku Tensei is a passion project with it's studio literally created in order to adapt it.
I don't think it's comparable.

The manga is barely ahead of the anime. It would be weird to see an anime that goes way further beyond innthebstory tha the manga.

Ah, no way— they’d be idiots to turn down free money like that.

The story is quite interesting tho, and the anime is literally incomplete, she haven't met her classmates, and the plot twist at the end is cool.

konosuba is massively successful and still makes a ton of money on merchandise even before they made a 3rd season. but I do hope they make a season 2 I love this anime and it has so much more to offer.

It is so bad of an adaptation, plus bad animations etc.
The story would just stuck at some point if they do not make so biggy changes imo.

I think anyone who enjoys this is just the audience who thinks or has read the novel but I think this is hard for most people to accept the story is really hard to understand yeah two stories with different timelines but one of them is boring I said "for people who think" yeah I'm not one of those. the story about the hero is boring really boring yeah that's what I said after skipping all the future scenes and I thought it was a big mistake as a result I was confused with the story yeah maybe this is quite stupid because I only understood the contents of the story after getting to the last episode😅

I'm not going to hope. use your research and logic man. the adaptation is way too bad. having a sequel is way too risky. 2nd how is the anime making money so far. source material is good enough so nothing to worry about. I wouldn't worry about this anime budget. even if they make good money but with anime adaptation is way too bad. with a lot of contents and arc are skipped. I have no hope that this anime having a sequel. in fact it's not even that popular. who ever have the money to hire a studio to make another spider might as well do a reboot and faithfully adapt the source material.

Sure. Tell that to No Game No Life.

Which is another anime that deserves a second season.

Me personally wants a season 2 like really bad but there's tons of reasons why we would and wouldn't get a season 2 like idk for example how this anime had the highest rating (at least on this website) out of all the animes the studio has created which I feel like from my perspective is a free cash grab (Also I want a season 2 so yeah)

Considering how much of a trainwreck this was I would be surprised if it got a sequel.
