| absolutely fucking phenomenal. watching the dub, Cnut's voice acting gave me goosebumps. I was half expecting this to start another arc which saw Thorfinn and Cnut pit against each other in a battle of ideals, but the narrated character epilogues squashed that. The series could have ended right here and I would've been content giving this a 10/10. |

| This seems like season 02 is the end of the season. Yes, Thorfinn had a major character development and became a righteous man just like his father was. But I'm just saddened I wouldn't be able to see a lot of actions. Oh well... |

| Absolute cinema Two men with wildly different backgrounds and completely different professions, bounded by fate after coming across each other, united by their similar idealistic dream of creating a utopia for themselves and their people, though utterly different methods and execution. This is the difference between Thorfinn and Canute. Though they may never see eye to eye in how they go about doing it, their goal is still the same. It's incredible how being calm and truthful in this situation can take you. Thorfinn's decree to run away from Canute's reach is a response wholly unexpected from Thorfinn, especially given Canute's knowledge of who Thorfinn was. The fool would attempt to fight, the weak would say they'll give up but. only the most determined of individuals would resolve the issue by simply seeking another path unseen by others. It is through this statement that Canute decided to pull back his forces and cancel not only the requisition of Keti;'s farmland but also all others planned after. PICTURE THIS The statement of a single individual managed to not only save thousands of lives and families but consequently, Canute sending his Danish forces home from England also made the English noblemen see the trust Canute has for them, allowing them to pledge their loyalty wholeheartedly to the conqueror-now-king Canute of England and Denmark. A single individual influenced the actions of King Canute to not only save thousands of lives but also ensure peace for millions of others. Magnificent. Thorfinn left a lasting impact on the farmers, especially Olmar and Snake who grew to respect him for his courageous and kind nature. The characteristics of a true warrior! This arc has been a blast, the adaptation for this slave arc went above and beyond what I initially expected, dayyum. |

| From murdering innocents on a journey of revenge to singlehandedly convincing a king to change his ways. Thorfinn's growth is just on another level, man. Also, It's kind of funny but of all the things that went down, just seeing Pater again was what got me to tear up the most. Absolute masterpiece. |
