It's from FUNA after all. I hope.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I'm not holding my breath, but I really hope this. This was a pleasant surprise I really loved this show. Mitsuha is just such a likeable character.

I really hope so because I enjoyed this anime

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Phew, a lot a "garbage" animes has extra seasons. At least this one is good one. Probably we all need to buy Blue-Ray edition release on June 13

I like this show (and the novels are my favorite series by FUNA), but given the number of volumes, "Didn't I say to make my abilities Average in the Next Life" is FUNA's favorite story to write, and it still doesn't have a second season lol. I'm not holding my breath, unfortunately.

That said, Devil is a Part-timer got a second season after 9 years, so anything is possible ;D (And as others say above, absolute dreck gets multiple seasons, so why not something that's actually fun and enjoyable?)
