i like her character design but the same can't be said for her one-dimensional personality (chuunibyou) which makes this spinoff hard to watch.

Is she an interesting character? Yes
Is she interesting enough on her own? No
While many people rave her as a waifu, I think her appeal as one comes the main series complimenting the party members, especially Kazuma's straight man acts and wholesome moments. But if you isolate her personality there's not really anything special about her. Like she's relatable at best in this spin-off series.

Who doesn't? I mean Aqua is my favorite from Konosuba but that doesn't mean I dislike Megumin. The whole cast is funny and interesting.

She's actually the worst character of the OG cast, but not bad. Just one dimensional (like her aspirations). I dont think you can make a good show with her as main protag.

Shes somewhat good as a friend.Even though she did things like manipulating herself into the group and forcing a name on his sword he didn't want. She has a terrible personality and kind of an idiot. Her family is poor but she just uses explosion magic instead of diversifying which would get her a lot of money. Even admitted if she learned more spells, quests would be easier. But yunyun would be a hot wife type and a good personality.
