As I am sure we all know by now Angel's Egg is what we would call a Deep anime, sometime critical thinkers love, but casual hate due to it's strong deep themes that go over their head. Today, as a critical thinker I decided to apply the deep complexities of Angel's Egg to my real life.

As I had just finished applying a fresh coat of paint to my wall, I decided it was time and spent 8 hours watching the paint dry, as I sat watching the paint dry I thought "damn this is just like Angel's egg". When the paint was kinda wet in some places, but dry in others, I thought to myself "this is so interesting I bet it represents how we are all at different stages of our lives and that there's nothing to be ashamed of" this is really deep and definitly what paint drying is supposed to mean, I also thought " I have no idea how long this paint is going to take to dry" to me this might represent the chaotic nature of life how we never know how things will or won't happen and how long they may take. Watching paint dry has got to be a 10/10 in my eyes, it's very deep and interesting, just like Angel's Egg and I felt similar emotions watching both.

My question to the Mal Forums is do you take any life lessons from Angel's Egg, and how do they apply to your day-to-day life?

Never stop making threads, we need more deep, intellectual and enlightened threads like these made by critical thinkers such as yourself; high quality posts offering perspective and new, rich ideas to all forum dwellers. Thank you, BestListMAL. I've learned something from you today, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch Angel's Egg, followed by 8 hours of watching the new paint job I did in my kitchen dry.

Idk if this is a troll or not hahahah but I’ll take the bait .i dont rlly take anything the movie did or say to my day to day life but I’ve been a christian my whole life until a few years ago and around 1-2 weeks before watching Angels egg i was on that whole is god real depressing phase I regularly have bc church sorta brainwashed me, and i came upon angels egg and it was literally the only avant garde anime i understood 100%, it was that whole cliche where it seemed like it was talking to me xD and it rlly gave me a reassurance that I’m not alone questioning if god is real or if his purposes even make sense.and that makes me feel a whole lot better :)

I didn't even know it had anything to do with that, at the time it was just like watching paint dry just like this guy. Maybe now that I'm older I can watch it and understand it a bit, not sure if I'm ever gonna do it though.

I would have thought it was a sarcastic post if it was someone else. But you're such a weird entity that I can't even tell when you're joking and when you're serious.

I haven't really taken life lessons from angels egg, but some of the things about faith are nice, like "you have to break an egg, to see what's in it" is pretty much a point that says you have to ruin something to know the truth about it (religion, beliefs) and because I'm an atheists it didn't apply to me so much, but I try to do it with my other beliefs like political beliefs, my opinions on different topics etc

The lesson I learned just now is to always check some reviews and forum threads after watching an anime because there might be one that makes me laugh way harder than I should.
