| I would say yes, but this series is way different than Konosuba in its comedy. It also seems way more focused on slice of life mundane stuff. You can technically dislike this and like Konosuba and vise versa since they are so different. |

It's exactly because it's a Prequel that it shouldn't be watched first. Prequels doesn't mean you have to watch it first or something like that , it means that it happens before the "Main" work , but was released after. Most of the time , it's used as a simple mean to show a sad background or reveal a mystery. As a Prequel , it expect you to already know the characters , the story and the world set in the Main work , and there is literally no point in watching this before the actual show. |

| As the people above said yes you can technically but i would reccommend you to watch atleast first season of main series if you really wanna watch this now to get the feel about the characters cuz this spin off follows Megumin only and after this ends watch the rest of konosuba if you want ofcourse |

| Well, you’re missing out on the superior series then. You’re better off skipping this and watch Konosuba instead because that has Kazuma and the gang, not just Megumin. This is just filler to keep us happy until season 3. |

Hopefully Megumin spinoff gets funny. |

Kazuma is the star of the main series, but at least this series is about the 2nd best character (imo). It still seems kinda boring (tho I’m biased against any CGDCT style anime because I find ‘em boring), but I’ll give it a chance soon. |
