I actually don't know, WHY!? Yeah, I can understand that animation in the 1st episode was a little bit weak, but visual quality, art-design, plot, suspense was pretty good. I hope that in the future, My Home Hero ratings will rise up because he totally deserves it 👍

because the production is rotten.
the manga is excellent, but when the voice acting, music and animation fails to elevate the source material, you might as well just read the manga.

Honestly, premise is great...but writing in the pilot left a lot to be desired

I was basically only waiting for the main character to hear from the bad guy: You know I love hanging out in the tub with my toaster after I beat up Reika and kill bunch of puppies for fun...

Maybe not for those who follow seasonal animes but definitely for those who check out "Rank" & "Popularity" section to find out something new to watch

So higher the popularity/ rank, more are the chances that it would catch someone's gaze

I'm very suprised too. Because I liked the first episode a lot and the feedback I read was very positive. The only negative part mentioned was the animation, but does animation really matter that much?

My guess is that it's similar to Trigun Stampede (which went from 7.2 to 7.8). People who know the original source expected more and gave bad scores, other people (me included) don't rate after just 1 episode, especially in a suspense show.

Good news then, as the scores of users who haven't completed 20% of the show aren't counted once the show is "finished airing". If we're really worried about future people who aren't watching the show yet, this topic can be shelved until July.

and same thing writing wise with the yakuza boyfriend. he says pretty much only says stuff that's relevant to the plot when the dad is eavesdropping on him and it doesnt feel realistic at all
