| Although generic and predictable, this show definitely does know how to intensify serious scenes. The music direction is really good. I specially love the ominous biwa music that plays when the MC gets serious. Well, that's what hooked me to this show, need not be the same to you or others. |

| How accurate is the top review? I know that guy likes to talk out of his arse often, sweeps problems under a rug only when it's convenient and has massive biases and a narrow minded view that lead him to misinterpreting things on a repeated basis, but sometimes he gets it right. Might be worth a binge? That's the problem with some of these reviewers, this guy is clearly intelligent, but I don't see or get much life experience from his writing. |

| Honestly it's hard to recommend this show. This show started with premise, which is reflected in proverb, in English ~next: "Sticking out nail is hammered down". MC was most powerful in his last life, so he was killed. He decided to low down in his next life, but instead repeats the same thing. So somewhat interesting premise is ruined. Almost all show goes without any serious/main plot. Only later almost at the end it is revealed who, what role MC plays in this World actually, which becomes interesting to see how it will pan out, but anime ends. So it feels like you just watched a prelude. MC is overpowered, this show has real-looking demons:  Not like this everywhere shown demons:  It has "eleganto" Sebastian  who was isekai'ed from "Spy x Family":  It has interesting character Satori who can read mind. Usually in anime to get information someone is tortured, but in this anime this ayakashi can just simply read mind, which is kinda new:  Again those English words for spells, which are supposed to sound cool, but to me brought only cringe. Same thing with showing a group of supposedly powerful enemies, which are supposed to be main antagonists, which is overused in other shounen anime. Of course, it has some annoying/cringe scenes. I guess those who somewhat new to anime can find this show as great, veterans - not so. So if you want to watch an OP MC fights, don't care much about the plot, then give it a try. |

| I liked it, it combined western fantasy and Japanese folklore. Sure it might have been at surface level, but it was entertaining. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| A bit late but easily a yes from me. The pacing is great. This is the 3rd? time I've rewatched the series so far. Very refreshing that even with MC being surrounded by females, they choose not to go the echi route. |
