The reason why Geneon licensed Burn Up Scramble instead of ADV

ADV knew this was going to be a huge disappointment for the fans so they had Geneon license it instead to keep its existence hidden from the fans of the Burn Up franchise. ADV did a great job to keep the Burn Up fans happy and I'm proud of them though hiding its existence didn't last long due to sites like Myanimelist and Anime Planet.

Hidden? How do they keep it hidden by letting Geneon get the license and release it on DVD?

Oh wait! Did Geneon USA have a website for consumers to buy their stuff? I knew ADV had one. Then it would make sense for people to find it easily
