Tbh, I couldn't have agreed more with you. The starting 4 episodes, until Seichi met with Karen and went on a mad rage after learning she was enslaved by the kingdom, were decent. But after that, it was just a climb down the ladder with every episode. The faces makes me wanna puke and the comedy is no longer in there. Well, I hope the final 3 episodes do it better than the last 5 episodes, but I know I'm just wishing for cows to fly.

Yeah, I was glad there was a season 2 after finishing the first season, but I guess im just gonna drop it after cringing myself through the first 6 episodes.

Season one tongue in cheek parody humor in a balanced amount.
Season two way WAY over the top stereotype reference humor without any soul of its own taking main stage.

I almost feel like I watch an amalgam of those crazy nipponese game/humor shows animated with a loosely added story to tie the sketches together.

Might it be the humor was to your liking? Something else?
I'm not trolling, in fact I'm also a bit curious if you are and I've also liked more or less universaly bombed shows like "I've somehow gotten stronger when I improved my farm-related skills" because I saw it as a parody from the start.
Am I missing something here?

I base my statement in season2’s ability to entertain, the comedy wasn’t for me this season, I didn’t want to watch this season anymore but when the MC gave his student magic and the whole tournament happened, I felt like letting the people behind this anime cook in a sense, not sure what to make of everything else that comes after tho, when I said it gets better I meant it gets entertaining later on. This season is honestly a 5or 6 for me.

So did I and I'd like to think most watchers did because that one is a tried and true saga telling trick. Wasn't well done here but it did its job. 🙂

I'm not sure what you mean after that. You liked the humor or not? I didn't to be honest but humor is subjective.

I don't know anything about this anime but when I first noticed the cover art-like thing, I just laughed and moved on. Although I did judge it based on it's cover alone, I somehow knew something like that wouldn't even be decent comedy after seeing that pink gorilla with a weird expression in the cover art.

Best ending line in anime history = "My name is Saiki Kusuo. I am a psychic."

What I meant is
1) don’t really know how I feel about the episodes after the episodes cause I don’t not like them but I don’t like them either.
2) even in season 1 I didn’t watch the the anime for the comedy but season 1 had a couple moments where it was funny but season 2 isn’t funny to me at all, no problem :) I make the same mistake myself don’t trip xD

Came looking for someone who thought this season was an absolute let down and you didn't disappoint. All the things that Made s1 enjoyable are long gone. Hardly any OP showings from Seiichi but instead we are gifted a whole episode where he is on the toilet, which happens to be the episode with the most action w/o the Mc. And my God wtf happened to the animation. it's not funny even a little and is beyond odd and annoying. They even try and Crack a joke about the jacked animation scenes we have to sit through a few times an episode. I was looking forward to see too.
