I finished season 1 recently and I want to continue by reading manga. 
Where should i start from? 
Will i miss out anything important for understanding of plot if I don't read story from start?

you can start reading the manga from chapter 38, vol.5... before that, the manga is pretty much similar to the anime, so I think it's a waste of time reading tpn from chapter 1, but then it's up to you :)

Yeah I’d recommend reading the manga. I’m not sure we will ever get a season 2 sadly

Yeah I’d recommend reading the manga. I’m not sure we will ever get a season 2 sadly

i watched 3 eps of blasphemy and theb picked up from vol 7 and i pretty much didnt miss anything

From the beginning bro, I did that and noticed some small key differences from the anime adaptation of season 1. It might tire you out to repeat the first arc with 90% of it's content being the same as what you saw in the anime but I still believe that the 10% difference made me enjoy The promised Neverland even more and it made it easier to follow the story. Ofcourse if you wanna save time there will be no problem continuing where you left off from the anime but you will need to keep your attention to details razor sharp.

Yea dont read the manga. Essentially, its really good but then after the goldy pond arc theres a time skip and after each chapter every single character does not matter and it becomes a story about how emma is always right and no one ever contests her way of thinking or living. The ending is a big cliche but gets a pass and the overall nuance of conflict gets absolutely undermined every single time a person with a “bad vibe” gets put on screen so nah dont read. Read aot if you want this story but millions of times better

So, after reading the garbage spewed out about no season 2 being produced. I can honestly say that season 2 was produced for children to have the perfect story line and not the anime or manga/anime adaptation. It failed to deliver the story line that the author wanted to deliver. Now, having said that, I feel that season 2 was not a bad continuation of the series but if you want to know what the real story line is then you should read the manga. However, I know many people out there don’t read manga and have to rely upon others to point out what went wrong and by saying no season 2 was produced is just the fans of the manga whining because season 1 practically never deviates from the manga and season two rarely follows the manga. Thus, the hopes of seeing what they envisioned destroyed and driving them to despair.

don't worry, they know it exists but the season 2 is almost totally different from manga and totally horrible so they don't count it as an adaptation.

The first season ends at chapter 37 of the manga. Nothing changes up to that point, so it would be best if you continue from there.
