| Enjoyable until the end. 7~9/10. Still, I hope for something more. The blonde haired kid has yet to do something. The red haired knight reminds me of Titania from Fairy Tail, with her elusive looks and nasty attitude towards training. The Lady Saintess (kid) is really entertaining. Our two main characters... well, you know what's up with them... lmao |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I like how this red hair knight can joke, her plan is to literally sacrifice the water saint and get the others to escape while she deals with Reiko/Lingzi. We see Reiko/Lingzi's memories of her father for the second time this series and it's a sad one - One where it looks like the father is cast out by his fellow villagers. n the end, everyone worked together to pacify Reiko/Lingzi and bring her back to her senses. Such a nice watch, very short though it definitely could've been better with longer episodes. |
| A bit of an intense finale for what was overall a cute and fun show, but it was building up to it from the beginning because Reiko/Lingzi having these powers was something that needed to be addressed at some point, and we got some answers but of course there’s still stuff we don’t know. The most important thing tho, is that her and the dragon are reunited and all is back to the usual weirdness, but we like it like that lol. I also really enjoyed Aliante using the dragon as a weapon, she knows how to get stuff done lol. And afterward we got a slideshow of the festival after all that went down, would’ve been nice if it was voice acted but it was still a wholesome way to end the show. I really enjoyed this show, it was a good mix of wholesome, cute, goofiness and just plain old fun, and definitely among the best Chinese anime that I’ve seen (of which there isn’t much lol), I’m glad I went with the Chinese version of this one instead of the Japanese dub, the Chinese voice acting was great and I really liked the Chinese songs in the OP and ED, I’m sure the Japanese ones were good too but I was vibing to these. And when it comes to the show itself, I really enjoyed the dynamic between the dragon and Reiko, it never really got old for me and made for some great bits, the side characters were also great additions and worked well with the two mains, I’m especially a fan of Aliante but I can’t deny that the Water Saint was fun too. This also had its share of serious moments, which were greatly enhanced by the great art and animation, usually I like if shows like this can stay purely wholesome but the serious stuff was so well done that i definitely didn’t mind, there were some truly great moments in there. And with that I guess I await the 2nd season, I’m definitely excited to see more of this gang and what trouble they get up to, I’m sure more Reiko acting like a psychopath is on the horizon lol. |
