Graphics quality

Like everytime we see some slow-motion, showing us juggernaut's blades, it looks so realistic, if you gave me just one frame asking what is this, i would have a hard time telling it apart from real-life movie scene.
Also the light-work on mechas, especially legion, is remarkable too, and i like the overall mecha movement animation. The blurriness and unstability of frames kinda make you feel like you're right there in the momentum.
I mean, its like two different brigades of people drawing fights and other events. What are your thoughts on this, and do you maybe know other animes with similar graphics quality?

Not sure if you’re aware - but Violet Evergarden is among the best animation/art quality OF ALL TIME.

Not exaggerating. It’s literally miles better than almost any other show, very very few shows can ever compare to that.

Animation in 86 was amazingly done. A-1 pictures did great in balancing the 3d CGI mechs and the legion with 2d backgrounds. One of the better jobs an anime did with blending the two. And if you haven't seen cour 2, I'd say the animation gets better there. When season 2 releases (hopefully soon, apparently it has been greenlit) the cgi should be just as smooth or even smoother, plus the story gets better too so I'm waiting on that.
As for similarly animated anime, I'd say AOT s1-3(odm gear scenes, colossal titan CGI sucked💀, mappa did a better job with cgi) and later seasons of initial d were pretty good with blending CGI with still background.

second season of this gourmet shit is legit the thing i am most hyped about right now (on one side i am actually glad they do not shout the eighty six name everywhere like they do with csm, dunno if they did right before the release)
also aot first season's odm gear flight scenes created so hyped atmosphere for me too, and then i like see some titan 'cardboards' waving hands
