| I'm catching up to this season kinda late so I'm marathoning a lot of stuff. I just finished Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo and this is the second isekai in a row that I've watched where the main character strengthens his party by buying a slave. I'm enjoying the show so far, but that aspect brings the whole show down quite a bit in my opinion. The show would work perfectly fine if he freed the slave be bought immediately after and she agreed to help him in his adventures out of gratitude, we'd still end up with the same cast. Instead, the author chose to just have the main character own a slave. It was gross in Meikyuu Harem and its gross here, too. It really is too bad considering there is no real reason for that to be the case here. At least in Meikyuu Harem, it is practically a hentai and the slave-play could be someone's fetish, so from that point of view, its just trashy porn. BTW, you'd think a goddess might have something to say about owning people, but she seems to operate on a Lawful Neutral morality. The main character, being raised in Japan, is also pretty quick to just accept slavery as a normal thing too. |

Love it when the generic isekai anime mc buys slave and puts her into his harem thus "freeing" her. I'd never get over how weirdly slavery is portrayed in this genre.

| The guildmaster Leo really read Kelvin like a book. I'm just glad they seem to be on the same page. That could have gotten really bad really quickly otherwise. I'm glad Elfil is cured and no longer caged, wish he would have dealt with the slave trader too. But I guess this just isn't that kind of story. Claire is the goat for treating her right with no questions asked! |

| He didn't even haggle buying Efil lol. I guess it makes sense to buy a slave and make her owe you if you want her help hiding your identity. The next party member is that other girl that's bound right? He's gonna rescue her and like Efil she'll owe him. |
