i like to call Kanon, Air, and clannad (and after story) the big three of keys.
Clannad and Clannad after story is the saddest in my opinion and I like sad stories specifically tragedies. so clannd my favorite.

Air is my favourite, because of the VN. It tells such a beautiful story that surpasses even After Story in my opinion, and the anime unfortunately doesn’t do it justice.

why (and after story)? After Story is the second season, so both are clannad.

I see you haven't watched Little Busters. It's the saddest imo.

Of course it’s Clannad but Kanon holds a special place in my heart because it was one of my first sad/supernatural animes. And I would argue that Yuichi has a better personality than Tomoya. And also Kanon is the first anime I bawled my eyes out to.

kanon was the first anime i saw so it also holds a special place in my heart

cause there might be some guy who might get confused thinking im talking strictly about “clannad” and not counting the continuation. so might as well remove any possible confusion as soon as possible.

Clannad is my second favorite anime of all time. I loved kanon it was great probably in my top 15. I haven’t watched air…
