So a watch order that do both is , of course , good for the fans who want more people to like their things. (It's what a lot of peoples do with the MarvelCU , but it's not always a good idea , as we can see with the Fate/Series) |

but railgun 1/2 spoils something about index 1 and I think if you want to watch in this order, you need to watch at least when toma and misaka meet for the first time in toaru no index. And remember that index is the main story, railgun is just a spinoff, then i think there's no reason to get some events spoiled |

Most people tends to push Railgun first because of chronological order, which makes things confusing. I am a LN/manga reader as compared to most people here. It is correct to read Index first because it is the main story. Railgun, Dark Matter, Mental Out and Accelarator can come later as they are side stories. Just be careful of a few things: Switch to LN after Daiheisei. JC Staff mishandled the adaptation of Toaru Majutsu No Index. You can watch Railgun anytime after you finish the first arc in Index. Only start watching Railgun S after Index first novel to fully understand dark side of academy city. Only start watching Railgun T after Index NT Vol 11. I don’t know about Accelarator, Dark Matter and Mental Out as I have no started reading them. |

And remember that index is the main story, railgun is just a spinoff, then i think there's no reason to get some events spoiled yh I get that lol but the order i gave mainly focuses on the timeline of events so its less confusing for the watcher like at the end of index I where accel gets nerfed and then in the accelerator spinoff he's in the hospital and after that ends is the time touma goes to fight the roman catholic church all the dates and that stuff flow perfect there xD |
