What was the reason for the animation being so crap for this season?
I genuinely want to know since the studio has given quite a few good animations like Konosuba. The earlier seasons of nnt we required good and was extremely popular so I don't know why the final season was bad when it came to animation

I guess mainly budget and production time. And they outsourced a lot to the studio Marvy Jack.

They weren’t given enough time. The gap between season 1 and season 2 was 4 years but the gap between 2 and 3 was only 1, you have to expect a drop in quality in that time frame as well as the fact that deen is a much smaller studio than A1 with less money, power and people to throw at the anime. Overall it was just a massively rushed anime which pains me as the manga is amazing.

The popularity wasnt much, and the show had lost most of its promise in the second season.
