| I am interested to read the LN but want to know how good is it compared to the anime? I feel like the plot in general and the concept of Ether is quite interesting but the anime does not really explain that much about it. Plus, no offense but the anime adaptation is not the best in my opinion. So, I want to know what to expect from reading the LN and do you recommend me to read it? Thanks. |

I think its a pretty decent anime adaptation...compared to train wreck salty hero season 2 lol I haven't even finished light novel vol 1 yet so I dont know but I heard its pretty good I instantly dropped the light novel when I witnessed momo, menou and everyone getting turned into food seasonings by flare Im not a big fan of bad ending, I dont want to sit for hours reading things that would only leave a bitter taste in my mouth |

I just feel like the LN offers a lot more and from the plot and concept, it seems like it has potential. That's why I am asking LN readers for their opinions. |

If you want to know and understand more about the world, powers, characters, etc, then I recommend reading the LN because it explains a lot more. I’m currently reading vol.3 rn, and so far the story is really interesting. And the anime adaptation is great and the pacing of the anime is somehow a lot better than I expected. |

The LN is awesome, it obviously has more explanations and exposition than the anime since it can give more insight between actions and intentions. And yeah, the ether and how it works it is better explained in the novel for the reasons I just said. The anime adaptation is actually well handled, just some minor differences and some anime original scenes but these added scenes don't damage anything narrative wise and they usually are to add even if a little more to the interactions between characters. Even the pacing has been good so far, nothing actually rushed. |
