Watch out this post contain a lot of spoilers (Sorry for my English)
/spoiler
Well I just finished the show a few hours ago and it was very good and I really enjoyed it but there is a loooot of things that I need to say because I can't contain it

First of all: I feel so bad for the main girl
Like even if she made a beautiful move at the end she totally not deserve to died. She was just a random girl who got involved of a huuuge heist. She was forced to lie cuz she would died if not and got her entire life ruined for the sake of 2 random kids (I have nothing against those kids tho) And she should definitely not cut her hair cuz she was way more cute with long hairs

In second: Is this was even worth it???
They literally create an entire civil war and made half of the population died again just for the sake of 2 randoms kids and ruins life of 5 Akudamas (except for that doctor girl who was a frickin b). The executors were not wrong at the beginning they put akudama in jail and judge them if they are going to die or not depending on their crimes. And the worst thing... WHY did this stupid kid free a frickin serial killer that killed hundreds of peoples. Like the guy even use the kid as a shield and pierced his body with a knife.

And lastly: Did they will even died?
Like idk if I understand wrong but the Kanto was just gonna transfer is data in the kids brain and let them live? I'm not sure so I'm so I'm not gonna say more until clarification.

Conclusion :
Ik that if all of this didn't happen this would be less interesting and will not get the same impact. The show is still very good, OST are very good, combats scene are great and the animation is smooth but I found a lot of things that made me uncomfortable. They at least could let the courier and the swindler alive and I will not be mad.
And just my personal opinion but my 2 fav chara were Swindler and Brawler.

Well, I’m not quite convinced you understand what the terms “logical” and “illogical” mean, but fair criticisms otherwise I suppose.

I watched this when it was airing forgot somethings about it but if remember correctly she cut her hair so she wouldn’t be recognizable to the citizens when she made the video so that she could start an uprising or like you said a civil war because the world wasn’t fair, the citizens would be killed for even the slightest of crimes so yes there was a purpose to all of it.
I think she didn’t deserve anything she caught up in a situation she wasn’t supposed to be in but since she was already there labeled a S tier criminal she made the most of it.

I forgot a lot that happened in this anime since its been a while and I’ve watched a lot of other anime and read a lot of books since then but yeah everything did have a purpose and even I just forgot.

For first one I can say that yeah girl is very unlucky but it were needed for the watchers be in the events.
Second girl isn't cute anymore she changed that's what they try to tell us
Lastly the civil war is the main thing that they try to show us. If you blame someone and punished this won't be the solution cause it will get bigger
At least those I think about the show. It was more then it seems.
(so sorry for my English 😅)

You should not really feel sorry for her, because in the end it was her choice to instigate riots, which caused a lot of deaths and in fact, she has the highest kill count out of whole cast, though indirectly.
She basically went full villain over the course of the story, which Cutthroat was even noticing and commented on.
I don't think that her wanting to save two children diminishes that.
Obviously, she did not chose to take this path of villainy, but eventually embraced it and went out like one.

What I'm saying is that Ordinary Person was not a villain, but Swindler definitely was.

do we wanna talk about the doctor who survived after someone cut her head but didn't survived after some people stomped her? Or the fact that a little dumb girl just killed the serial killer in a 1 vs 1? the series was pretty to look at but that's it. one of the dumbest things i ever watched

Don't take it too seriously. This is fiction only for entertainment purposes.

I think the Kanto was simply metaverse but your physical body is gone. besides its a complete fiction so logic is irrelevant. but I 100% agree that the main character was better with long hair.

That was more or less the point of the show, to demonstrate how far Ordinary would fall when she got involved.

Kanto's population needed the kids so that they could become immortal, as their computer was degrading. With the kids out of Kanto's reach, they would eventually die and Kansai would be free. Additionally, the Executioner organisation was completely destroyed, which should also improve the lives of those in Kansai.

And lastly: Did they will even died?
Like idk if I understand wrong but the Kanto was just gonna transfer is data in the kids brain and let them live? I'm not sure so I'm so I'm not gonna say more until clarification.

The children would physically still be alive, but transferring the population of Kanto into their brains would erase their minds, essentially killing them.
Well I for one already loved Lain.
