| I'm still not sure if i should just drop it or wait for a little bit more. Tbh, the premise is rather weak and for a shonen jump it lacks the big goal that most series strive for. Dandadan was like this too at first but the fights with the yokai kept the series going. Earthchild however doesn't have anything that stands out. If this were a slice of life it could've been better. |

| Ok like I said in one of previous discussion successfully saving her this early would be axe foreshadowing and I still believe this but maybe they want to "resurrect" her because plan for "single father" story didn't worked out and like many people commented Kareri and Reisuke chemistry was the strongest part of one shot so this way they want to save this series? |
