| I don't know why they just didn't make this episode 1. it makes no sense to have have it at the end...in a kind of flashback when its just 6 episodes. It makes it feel kind of like a sloppy afterthought. |

| I felt the same although there's still one more episode. The verdict might be that the show tried to lead everything back together for some fruits for thought. |

| Definitely poor storytelling on the studio's part. I agree this should've been the first episode; the first four eps don't explain things well enough for the viewer to understand or care that much about what's happening. This episode and the next put things in perspective (and her sad first partner's life was heartbreaking IMO) and it would've made the conclusion a lot more satisfying. |
| definitely agree, if this was the first episode a lot of things would have made more sense.... but even then, lots of stuff happening this episode felt pretty random. |

| I don't think this being the first episode would've made it better. It works just fine as the fifth episode and I enjoyed it very much. I hope for some closure in the last episode and more awesomeness! |

| Some weird stuff in this episode o.O that whole trial with that council was pretty freaky, and her partner seemed to be really scared. But since Japolo ends up being Tiara's partner, I wonder what happens to Graham... |

| i feel like this show is going to end up on my favorites list. that aside, i disagree that the sequence of time was somehow "poorly thought out". if this episode had taken place at the start, that moment where tiara meets and merges with her transformed self would have had absolutely NO impact! aside from the visual beauty, there would have been nothing that "fell into place", and that scene did fall into place, absolutely and with a deep poignancy i've only seen in a few other pieces of my most beloved media. i feel in watching this OVA that, much like some other "experimental" OVAs and other media like malice@doll, it's just not for everyone. and there's nothing wrong with that, but i think you have to think about things in a certain way for this to resonate with you fully. i don't mean that as a comment on intelligence, i mean it as a comment on linear thought vs. conceptual thought. there's nothing wrong with you if your brain thinks in one way over the other, but some things are best grappled with in a linear way and others in a conceptual way. i tend to think more with the latter, so that's probably another reason the "discrepancies" in time didn't bother me. i also think the actual structure of time itself within these two worlds flows differently... but again, that's just my opinion. |
