It's hard to say because everyone has a different taste, but I think this anime is rather average. It has some well-designed characters, the plot may seem interesting, but the whole thing is done in an average style. I haven't read the manga so I don't know if it's a faithful adaptation but you can watch at least two episodes and see if it's the production for you.

there is no manga, it is an anime original prequel to the game

I thought it was pretty bad. Visually it’s good but about everything else cancels that out.

Well, I'd say this anime is average. I wouldn't call it interesting. Neither the story, nor the characters. But the animation and the character designs are gorgeous and I'm very much into classical music so it was good to hear some :)
But considering it doesn't have a manga but instead it's the promotion of an upcoming mobile game with the same characters, I think it's an okay category. I'd rank it 6-7/10

Yes. Ignore the haters. I swear, this site has a ton of elitists. Take this anime for what it is, a solid road trip featuring magical girls who are the embodiment of classical music pieces. The animation and action scenes are amazing. I remember watching this while it was airing and pretty much everyone was expecting this to be some deep complex tale or some such. It wasn't and instead of dropping this and moving on to something they actually like, they instead continued bitching and moaning about this and that. Anyways, just watch it yourself and see if you like it.

The anime is said an apocalyptic anime, but actually almost nothing happened, the villains have cringe motivation, stiff fighting scene animations, heartless MC, waifu bait female MC, terrible worldbuilding. The anime I was much hyped about but disappointed at the end. Considering your favorite animes, seems like you have high standard, so this definitely ain't recommended for you, 4/10.
