Should I watch the anime first or read the manga from chapter 1?

I wanna start it soon . The genres are so interesting. So , please answer my question.

well you could do both, just know that the anime ain’t actually finished and the manga is still going on

I haven't read the manga, but I really want to. I loved the anime, but it only had 1 season. I read somewhere a while back that the author was seriously injured in a major earthquake in 2015 I think, and couldn't write anymore. She has recovered though, and is writing again. I'm really hoping the anime will continue after all these years. A few new episodes were announced in Jan, but nothing about a new season. I'm not holding breath, but hoping for the best. If you watch the anime, you're definitely going to want to read the manga anyway if you have any hope of continuing the story.

I'm currently reading the manga from the beginning and it's so far been identical. The anime has an open ending that some people would say is unsatisfying, but I still feel like the parts aside from the last episode are excellent.

the anime follows the manga very closely! but the manga goes on much, much longer(still being published), so the anime is too open-ended. it feels like a gateway drug to get into the manga

I think anime is a good manga but the more anime there are full of things that the manga is better but I enjoyed the anime more

I really liked the anime and fell in love with its characters. So I'm really considering reading the manga as well!

I watched the anime first and loved it, just hated how the anime just ends. So I went ahead and read the manga up to the most recent book and absolutely loved it! Now I am just mad since I would love to see the anime continue to see some of these scenes play out. I am counting the days for the next volume to be released.

Anime, the manga later goes down the drain. Read manga if a story where the main character blessed with supernaturally strong people fighting against human beings without any special powers sounds interesting to you.
